Note for M1 Mac Users: This plugin is not yet compiled to work natively on M1 Macs. We are currently in the process of rewriting it so that it will, but it will take some time. In the meantime, it should work under rosetta on M1 Macs.

About the Plugin
Le Snappet is designed to make it simple to create snap tracks of any size. From a single snap to an entire crowd, you determine how the snaps sound.
Realistic Snaps
You determine the group size. You determine how sloppy they are. You control the microphone mix. We sampled multiple snappers at multiple layers and a bunch of round robins, from 3 different mic perspectives. The result is natural sounding snaps no matter how large the group.
Built in Step Sequencer
Control with MIDI or the built in step sequencer that lets you automate between 12 user created patterns.

I would love to use this plugin bundle more. I have used it quite a bit. But Apple M Series processors have been available for over 4 years now and still no AAX Native updates. Boz has removed the-great-plugin-rewrite-of-2022 webpage giving a big FU to long time customers who have been waiting for updates to go live. They had allegedly been next in line but got usurped along the way and the News page has vanished. Being a small developer is no excuse as Massey is also a one man shop and all his plugins were immediately available when Pro Tools went M1 Native and all have been updated since at least once. I have no time to or desire run Rosetta mode since I bought an M1 machine to take advantage of the significantly more efficient processors’ capabilities and am not looking back. Technology is a shark; move forward or die. This is sad because the plugins are good, but are purposefully being inhibited by the developer.

Straightforward and an excellent plug-in. Still waiting for an M1 native support but it’s a very useful plug-in.
