Can I use any of the Intel plugins on an Apple Silicon machine?
This depends on your DAW. You can if you run your DAW in Rosetta and it should all the plugins should work. To do this, just right click on the DAW’s icon in the finder and select “Get Info.” In the window that pops up, there will be an option to “Open using Rosetta.” Select that and all your plugins should show up.
Logic Pro users can use all our plugins even when not running under Rosetta, but first you have to open Logic Pro under Rosetta to let it scan the plugins. Then you can close it and reopen it natively and your plugins should continue to work.
Note that running your DAW using Rosetta will be slightly more CPU intensive.
